My name is Dean Teitelbaum.  I am a physical therapist and health educator in Simsbury, CT.  Since 2000, I have been helping patients get on the path to better health.  Working as a physical therapist has also given me the opportunity to see what's wrong with our healthcare system today and why it’s failing. 

In 2004, I learned WHY there are so many sick and overweight people.  I learned why so many suffer unnecessarily with disease, pain, and obesity.  Because disease is all about one thing...

ACID.

Most Americans consume a very acidic diet.  Ultimately, this acid lowers the pH level of your blood and sets you up for disease, obesity, low energy levels and much more.  I

If the mass amounts of acid do not lower the pH level of your blood, that means your body is storing it away in fat cells and making you fatter.  Either way, ACID IS THE ENEMY!

In short, acidic foods are sugars, dairy, meats, and alcohol, amongst others.

If you answered yes to any of those questions above, I would be willing to bet that your body is over-acidic.  The bad news is that if you continue living an acidic lifestyle (acidic food, stressful living, negative thoughts and emotions), these problems will continue and worsen AND you will likely develop additional health problems.

Your body does have the ability to fight off colds and the flu when your body is in balance.  You CAN be healthy without using prescription pills (but don’t let the pharmaceutical companies know that you just learned the truth).  Type II Diabetics CAN reduce and eventually eliminate their need for external insulin or other drugs. 

This can ALL be accomplished in time by living a more alkaline lifestyle!

You see, I can relate.  Gratefully, I’ve never had any major health issues in my life.  However, one thing that I always struggled with in the past was energy level. 

On most days, I felt pretty good up until about 2:00PM or so.  Once that time of the day came around, it was literally a struggle for me to keep my eyes open. 

If I had any time at all during my busy schedule as a physical therapist, I would try and sneak in a ten minute nap in between patients. 

And then after getting home from work, I would eat dinner and then pass out on the coach for a couple of hours and waking up just in time to watch an hour of prime time TV, check my email, and then go back to bed so I can do the same thing the next day. 

I also struggled with bags under my eyes.  It didn’t matter how much sleep I would get, they were always there.  At one point, they had gotten so bad that it had looked like I had gotten into a bar fight or something!  It got to the point where I was just convinced that it must be something in my genes and that they would never go away.

I never understood why I was so tired and low on energy.  After all, I knew I wasn’t eating perfectly at the time, but the food I was eating couldn’t have been THAT bad to make me feel like so tired, right?  Wrong.

Well, in 2004 I learned the TRUTH about health and nutrition.  I learned information that was not taught in physical therapy school.  I learned information that NEEDS to be a MAJOR part of medical school programs, but currently is not. 

After I learned the information that you are NOW going to learn, I took several immediate actions and made some shifts in my diet.  Within two weeks, the dark circles under my eyes had literally disappeared.  I had a nice constant energy level all day long.  Not an artificial “buzz”, but I would describe it instead as a natural state of feeling good and vibrant without hitting any low energy points during the day. 

And this feeling lasted from the moment I woke up, until the moment I went to bed. 

Incorporating more alkaline foods and drinks has changed the lives of thousands and thousands of people, in addition to mine.  Many people in the world are unnecessarily struggling with health issues and weight loss issues because nobody had let them in on this disturbing secret…

Almost everything you have seen, read, or heard about health and nutrition in the past from “health care” professionals is completely ineffective for long term health!

You see, it’s not about fat grams, calories, carbs, pills, surgery, etc.  (FYI-I don't think drugs and surgery are completely unnecessary, I just think there is a time and a place for them and in our society, they are completely overused.)

The true key to ultimate health is understanding the acid-alkaline balance of your body (the pH level) and how the food we put into our bodies has a direct affect on that pH level

Just because something is low fat or zero calories does not mean it is healthy for you.  In fact, it just may be KILLING you!  Artificial sweeteners are a great example of this.  If you think you are healthier than others because you drink diet colas instead of the regular colas, THINK AGAIN.  Those diet soft drinks are just as bad, and may be even worse!

Working in the health care industry, I have seen a lot of crazy senseless things go on.

I’m tired of patients being programmed to believe that pills are the answer for ultimate health.

I’m tired of seeing people trying to lose weight without any real long term results.
